When the Wind Blows

Sometimes the wind is a gentle, pleasurable breeze against my hand out the car window, or it is blowing golden leaves across an autumn street.

On other days, the wind is a cold gale which I must brace against, and I cringe at my discomfort.

Occasionally, the wind sweeps my hair up comically into a funnel, and my friend and I giggle at the spectacle!

The wind is like the breath of the divine. I cannot imagine a world without the impact of this natural force upon humankind; it is an intimate and moody interaction, reminding us of who is truly in charge, and it is not me.

As yet, the wind is an untamed, and unharnessed force; and quite possibly one of the greatest discoveries hereafter to be made, will be the taming, and harnessing of the wind.” ~Abraham Lincoln

Inspired Action

The next time you feel the wind, pause and imagine it blowing through your body, pushing all the stress and struggle out the other side, leaving your body cleansed and free. Then thank the wind for this.
