April 3. Fire đźś‚: Passion and Drive

Lonely, or Alone?
I used to be on the front of every event, planning, inviting, preparing, and feeling an intense need to actively participate in whatever the event might be. I was terrified of missing out.
When I recognized my need for solitude and rest, I had to reconsider my desperate need to be included. I thought that time at home while others were out meant I was invisible, unwanted, and unworthy. That was, of course, a lie.

“Being alone can be rewarding because it gives a person time to invest in themselves and their interests. People might choose to spend time alone because they are introverts energized by the quiet. Others may prefer being alone because they feel overstimulated when around others” (Bragnono, 2023).
Inspired Action
It is one thing to have no balance and isolate from the world, but it is also important to learn how to be joyful with just yourself. Make your solo time a sacred thing.
Bring all of your passion into your own world, your own sustenance, your own activity. Be interested in where you are now. The ideas of what others are doing is, for now, unimportant, and oftentimes not nearly as fulfilling as you might imagine. Create rituals and habits that are healthy and fulfilling just for you. Now, what would that look like?
